Canadian startup pioneering a new approach to veterinary consultation documentation. The company has developed an AI-powered veterinary scribe system that aims to set a new standard in the industry. The startup appears to be targeting a significant pain point in veterinary practice - the time-consuming nature of documentation - with an AI-powered solution that promises to revolutionize how veterinary consultations are recorded and managed.

We are looking for a Manual QA Tester with experience in testing both mobile and web applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet high standards of quality, usability, and performance through meticulous manual testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual testing on mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications to identify bugs, usability issues, and overall functionality problems.
  • Design, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test plans based on product requirements.
  • Work closely with the development and product teams to understand requirements and provide timely feedback.
  • Conduct regression testing, sanity testing, and exploratory testing to ensure consistent functionality across different platforms.
  • Document and track defects in a bug tracking system (e.g., JIRA, Asana) and collaborate with the development team to ensure resolution.
  • Verify bug fixes and perform re-tests of resolved issues.
  • Participate in agile/scrum meetings and provide input on improving testing processes and product quality.
  • Ensure comprehensive cross-browser and cross-device testing.

 

  • 2+ years of experience in manual testing for both mobile and web applications.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Familiarity with mobile platforms (iOS, Android, FlutterFlow) and web browsers.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in API testing and performance testing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with automation testing tools is a bonus, but not required.
