We are seeking a Fullstack Engineer to join our client´s team and help to build robust data-driven web applications. Our client builds enterprise data platforms and systems for a variety of clients, this team member will be working with data and application teams to build applications that make the output of  data systems connect with end-users and become interactive. 

This is a full-time, fully remote role for Latin American candidates.

Core Responsibilities & Skills:

  • Work with clients and data teams to help design, build and deploy web applications written in React, Next.js, and Nest.js in AWS.
  • Use sound engineering practices to test your applications (Unit tests, integration tests, etc)
  • Implement and maintain best practices for application development within the team. Constantly be vigilant for ways to improve the systems you are building.
  • Own the deployment processes for the software you build
  • Engage in Code Reviews, and Scrum meetings and follow SDLC best practices.
  • Develop reusable, automated processes, and tooling surrounding the applications you are building.
  • Knowledge of best practices related to security, performance, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience working in cloud environments, AWS is preferred
  • Enjoys collaborating with other engineers on architecture and sharing designs with the team.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication.
  • Interacts with others using sound judgment, good humor, and consistent fairness in a fast-paced environment.

  • At least 5 years of experience building and supporting enterprise full-stack applications.
  • Applicants must have strong written and oral communication in English
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Hold certifications for Azure Developer, Azure DevOps, or Azure Data Fundamentals (is a plus

 

  • Frontend experience:
    • React (preferred) or another similar front-end framework
    • Javascript is a must
    • Typescript experience is a plus
    • HTML/CSS
  • Backend experience:
    • Node.js preferred
    • Backend framework(s) experience
    • Nest.js is a plus
  • Other Examples:
    • Express.js, Spring Boot, Django Laravel, ASP.NET, Fiber, etc
    • General Software Engineering Experience (docker, Linux, etc)
