The Company is an early stage venture-backed company, headquartered in the USA, but with a true global and distributed team, with team members from San Francisco, California, Tampa, Florida, India, Indonesia, Paraguay and more to come. They are building the first and only e-commerce platform built from the ground up for home services companies, such as lawn mowing companies, plumbers, electricians, and cleaners, (Imagine Shopify but for Home Services).
Develop and extend the front end and user experiences across the public website, the consumer portal, and the PRO admin panel.
Develop back end applications and API’s to power the front-end applications..
Create internal tools and APIs to support the business.
Work with the growth team to develop and A/B test different iterations of the UI/UX
Work with cross-functional stakeholders including but not limited to the founders, growth team, design team, and the QA team.
Produce scalable, maintainable and tested code.
Ensure that the task management system (Linear) is always up to date.
A minimum of 4+ years software development experience in teams building at scale products
Either a minimum of 4+ years working with PHP Laravel, and 1+ years working with Next.Js & React.js, or 3+ years working with Next.js/React.js and 1+ years working with PHP Laravel
Significant experience writing high quality code in Next.js, Typescript and PHP Laravel, with experience using Tailwind
Experience calling JSON/REST APIs and working with authentication/authorisation systems
Experience collaborating with backend teams to surface new features and functionality
A love for systems and an ability to think through and plan for their life cycles, edge cases, interactions, and failure modes
Excellent communication skills and an ability to convert business requirements to code and explain complex concepts to the business
