The startup appears to be targeting a significant pain point in veterinary practice - the time-consuming nature of documentation - with an AI-powered solution that promises to revolutionize how veterinary consultations are recorded and managed.

We are seeking an experienced Engineer to join our team and work on our cutting-edge backend infrastructure built entirely on Google Cloud Functions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly with Cloud Functions and Firebase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize our backend infrastructure based on Google Cloud Functions
  • Work with cloud triggers, particularly Firestore triggers and HTTP triggers
  • Deploy and maintain web applications on Google Cloud Run
  • Manage multiple environments including testing, staging, and production
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth integration of backend services with frontend applications

  • Proven experience working with Google Cloud Platform, especially Cloud Functions and Firebase
  • Strong understanding of serverless architecture and event-driven programming
  • Proficiency in working with Firestore and its triggers
  • Experience deploying and managing web applications on Google Cloud Run
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and multi-environment setups
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Google Cloud certifications
  • Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) for comparative insight
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies for full-stack perspective
