We are a growing B2B website agency that seeks a Senior React UI developer with 5+ years of experience with styling React websites and proficiency with SCSS modules.
This is a full-time position. We are based in New York City, but this position is remote. Fluent English is a must-have.

 

What you will be doing:

Our organization creates large, visually beautiful marketing websites. Your role will involve implementing the designs with pixel-perfect accuracy. This position is equally focused on implementing required functionality (React components) as well as on SCSS module styling.

 

Key Responsibilities:


? Create clean semantic markup for React components and style them using SCSS modules while employing best practices.
? Produce clean, simple, and concise SCSS code without using any 3rd-party frameworks.
? Ensure that the application/React components adhere to pixel-perfect design specifications provided by designers.
? Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development/styling.
? Be systematic, attentive to details, and proactive in completing tasks that are assigned to you.

Must-Have Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Proficiency in styling React components using SCSS modules.
  • Ability to achieve pixel-perfect styling according to the design.
  • Experience with responsive/scalable layouts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  •  A proactive approach to addressing potential issues or opportunities for improvement.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with TypeScript and modern JS (ES6-ES9) features.
  • Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (SCSS/LESS).
  • Experience with WordPress and PHP.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Familiarity with git/GitHub.
  • Experience implementing custom-designed animations and animated transitions. Training in graphic design.

Some Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work NYC (GMT -5) business hours.
  • Availability to travel to New York City at least twice per year.
