QA ENGINEER - For USA
ABIERTO We are looking for a Mid Level Engineer to join our team and support Quality Assurance (QA) and technical engineering tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working closely with senior and lead engineers in a collaborative, learning-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities

Join engineering projects alongside a senior or lead engineer.

Perform technical QA activities, including:

Building and maintaining test harnesses.

Validating data across databases and APIs.

Executing and documenting functional and technical test cases.

Support data and platform migrations, production maintenance, and technical updates on existing systems.

Implement code following established standards and pre-approved designs.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and overall software quality.
- English proficiency that matches/exceeds C level (proficient or higher)
- Recent graduate or advanced student in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of APIs, version control (Git), and testing automation frameworks
- Python coding proficiency (coding is a must-have, prior testing experience is a nice to have)
- Genuine interest in technical QA and learning professional software development practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively and follow technical guidance from senior engineers.
- Proactive attitude, curiosity, and eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.
The items that are not required (but a very nice to have) would be:
- Experience or familiarity with React, C++, or C
- Exposure to backend frameworks or experience with system integrations
- Experience with testing frameworks
