SDET plays a critical role in the software development processes, ensuring we are not only releasing bug-free, innovative software, but also ensuring the product is sufficiently meeting the business needs and expectations of our clientele! What you will do:
- Advocate for multiple personas and angles of quality for the business in each module including, but not limited to: Dealer Admins, Dealer Users, Dealer Consumers, Internal Supportability, Internal Implementation, and Internal Training, and Sales.
- Design and develop automated test framework to support various testing methodologies, including Unit, UI, API, Performance and End-to-end testing.
- Build and Optimize CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
- Directly assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of robust backend API and UI automation testing infrastructure, testing processes and tools.
- Provides input and collaborate with QA Engineers and Developers on functional and design specifications.
- Participate in requirements gathering and write/assist in defining user story in sprint squad related to automation goals.
- Facilitate scrum meetings and communicate changes (as needed).
- Assist with providing training and guidance, both to QA, and other departments within the company.
- Assist QA Engineers with liaison between QA squad team, outside contractors and internal company areas in coordinating QA responsibilities in the QA testing cycles and the product development life cycle and automation status reporting.
- Validate problems with products reported by customers and developers.
- Troubleshoot Error and Read Logs; Enter, review, and update software defects in our defect tracking database in relation to automation.
