HEAD OF PRODUCT DESIGN
ABIERTO We are looking for a strategic design leader who will lead and grow our Product Design team, elevate Design's impact across the organization, and help define how we partner with clients to build successful digital products. We are looking for someone who can help clients uncover the right problems to solve, guide product strategy, strengthen discovery practices, and build a world-class Product Design organization. You will lead our Design team, partner closely with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and Leadership, and play a key role in shaping both client outcomes and the future of the company.
What you'll do:
- Define the vision, strategy, and growth plan for Product Design.
- Establish design standards, processes, and best practices across projects.
- Lead, mentor, and grow the Product Design team, including hiring and career development.
- Raise the bar for product thinking, UX, and design execution.
- Partner with clients to solve complex business challenges through discovery, product strategy, and design thinking.
- Ensure Design drives meaningful business and user outcomes.
- Support business development, pre-sales, and strategic client engagements.
- Evolve the company’s Design services and capabilities, positioning Design as a strategic differentiator.
- 8+ years of experience in Product Design, UX, or related disciplines
- 3+ years of experience leading designers and design teams
- Proven track record designing and launching digital products
- Strong experience in product discovery, user research, and product strategy
- Experience working directly with clients and executive stakeholders
- Strong understanding of product development processes and the ability to balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints
- Fluency in English (advanced proficiency required)
