HEAD OF DATA
ABIERTO We are looking for a Head of Data to lead the Data team and drive the technical and strategic direction of Data across the organization.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining data architecture, engineering, client strategy, team development, partnerships, and business growth. You will lead the development of modern data platforms and solutions while shaping the Data practice and working closely with clients and technology partners.
- Strong background in Data Engineering and Data Architecture, with experience building production data platforms.
- Deep practical experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake.
- Strong understanding of modern data architectures, pipelines, data modeling, governance, and data quality.
- Experience leading Data projects from discovery through production.
- Experience working directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
- Strong sales and pre-sales skills, including discovery, solution design, proposals, and presentations.
- Experience leading and developing Data Engineers while remaining technically hands-on.
- Strong written and spoken English.
You won't just manage a Data team.
You'll help make Data a core capability of Light-it by leading sophisticated data projects, developing strategic partnerships, shaping our Data strategy, helping win new business, and building a world-class Data practice.
We're looking for someone who can lead the strategy, architect the platforms, deliver the projects, develop the team, build the partnerships, and help grow the business - while still getting their hands dirty.
