QA LEAD (Medellín- COL)
SUSPENDIDO We are looking for a full-time QA Lead, working from our Medellin Office. This role requires the ability to
lead a team of QA Analysts to test various types of software on various platforms (webpages, web based
software, iOS, Android). The objective is to test any software to make sure they are reliable, fully
functional and user-friendly before they are released.
The QA Lead will be responsible for setting up processes to ensure that Quality is built in to every project
in Ballast Lane Applications. Additionally, would be responsible for QA test automation efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the Ballast Lane Applications QA department
- Ensure QA processes are being followed on all projects
- Report to Management on project Quality status
- Oversee and coach QA Analysts on their respective projects
- Setting up templates for test plans
- Develop plans and approaches for automation
- Good written and spoken English (minimum level B2)
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a QA Lead or Management role.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, technology team, and management.
- Excellent knowledge of software testing concepts and processes and computers.
- Understanding of software release processes, particularly Agile methodologies.
- Highly self-motivated and top performer.
- Detailed-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated customer and quality focus.
- Proficient with JIRA
- Knowledge of Automated Testing is an advantage
