This role requires the ability to test various types of software on various platforms (webpages, web based software, iOS, Android). The objective is to test any software to make sure they are reliable, fully functional and user-friendly before they are released. 
The QA Analyst looks for flaws and weaknesses in the software, such as an unappealing interface or bugs, and reports these on our tracking software (JIRA). They may also make suggestions for how to make a software program work better. The two main responsibilities are Functional testing and Automation (Cypress), aslo documenting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creating test plans, test cases, and test reports
  • Executing the test plan to insure software functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other systems
  • Using test plan to insure bugs are reported and tracked to closure
  • Looking for ways to prevent bugs from happening in the first place
  • Insuring the product has correct language, formatting, and appearance (per design)
  • Working on multiple project of varying size and complexity concurrently

Minimum of three years of experience in software development, specially with Javascript. It´s very important to have experience with investment apps / products. 

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, technology team, and management.
  • Good written and spoken English (minimum level B2)
  • Proficient with JIRA
  • Cypress
