The Software Engineer will work building and maintaining SaaS solutions as part of an agile engineering team.

It is expected this individual will be passionate about applying the right technology solutions to solve tough software development challenges efficiently and elegantly.

Also is expected he or she will be savvy and knowledgeable of the current state of the art on web development and apply that knowledge to the company

He/she will be ruthless about creating software productively that is both performing and scalable.

  • High level of spoken and written English language

  • Experience in Javascript and React (Required)

  • 2+ years relevant experience

  • Experience on web markup in general, HTML5, CSS3

  • Experience dealing with dependency management

  • Experience dealing with web development related ever evolving security issues, such as cross-site scripting, cross-site request forgery, etc. a plus

  • Experience using code versioning tools such as Git and Mercurial

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment a plus

  • Self-starter and ability to think outside the box

  • Ability to learn from existing legacy code, derive essential functionality and translate to new model and design as required

  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment:

Education/experience/technical considerations:

  • Computer Science degree or equivalent experience

  • Knowledge about backend technologies: .Net/C# or Java (nice to have)

  • Experience in other frontend libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS (nice to have)

  • Experience with Object Oriented design and development

  • Experience applying TDD and/or BDD a plus

  • Experience with SOA/microservice architecture a plus
