The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on core Java and Java Web programming skills, excellent problem solving and design skills and ability to work collaboratively within different teams. The candidate should also demonstrate a history of on time delivery, excellent communication, and a positive get-it-done attitude. Retail domain expertise and experience working in Agile driven development projects is a plus.

You will be working remote for one of our US-based Fortune 500 clients on a 6 month contract. If you perform well, the contract will be converted to permanent work. The client industries range from Retail, eCommerce, SaaS, and Consumer Electronics. Working hours would be anywhere from US Eastern Time to US Pacific Time.

  • 5+ years software engineering experience required
  • 4+ years Java experience required
  • Experience in server-side development in Java
  • Experience with Spring framework
  • Experience with OO design and design patterns
  • Experience in building Restful services
  • Experience with databases
  • Experience in working with agile development methodologies
  • Team player that can work and support internal and external teams
  • Partner effectively and influence peers, juniors and seniors both within the organization and across the client
  • Flexibility and passion to learn new domains
  • Java and Spring Framework knowledge
