We are seeking experience database engineer to become an integral part of our development team! You will design strategies for database systems as well as set standards for operations, programming and security.

Responsibilities:

  • Design stable, reliable and effective databases
  • Gather user requirements and identify new features
  • Modify databases according to requests and perform tests
  • Refine system performance and functionality
  • Provide architecture guidance and support to technical leads
  • Ensure all database programs meet compliance and security requirements
  • Research and suggest new database products, services and protocol

Requirements:

  • 7+ years experience with an emphasis on Data Engineering
  • Proven ability to work dynamically with a fast-paced team in a highly collaborative environment
  • Experience with one or more of the following tools: Kafka, Snowflake, RDS, AWS
  • Experience processing and analyzing raw data to in order to deliver business insights to the leadership team
  • Detail oriented and in constant pursuit of accuracy and design excellence
  • Strong sense of personal responsibility and strive for continual self-improvement.
  • Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude

Pluses:

  • Worked in a high-growth start-up with experience of going from 0 to 1 or starting at code level zero.
  • Experience in building FinTech, risk and underwriting platforms.
  • Knowledge of AWS or similar cloud providers.
  • Degree in computer science or related field
