The Company is an early stage venture-backed company, headquartered in the USA, but with a true global and distributed team, with team members from San Francisco, California, Tampa, Florida, India, Indonesia, Paraguay and more to come. They are building the first and only e-commerce platform built from the ground up for home services companies, such as lawn mowing companies, plumbers, electricians, and cleaners, (Imagine Shopify but for Home Services).

 

  • Develop and extend the front end and user experiences across the public website, the consumer portal, and the PRO admin panel.

  • Develop back end applications and API’s to power the front-end applications..

  • Create internal tools and APIs to support the business.

  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders including but not limited to the founders, growth team, design team, and the QA team.

  • Produce scalable, maintainable and tested code.

  • Ensure that the task management system (Linear) is always up to date.

  • A minimum of 4+ years software development experience in teams building at scale products

  • Either a minimum of 4+ years working with PHP Laravel, and 1+ years working with Next.Js & React.js, or 3+ years working with Next.js/React.js and 1+ years working with PHP Laravel

  • Significant experience writing high quality code in Next.js, Typescript and PHP Laravel, with experience using Tailwind

  • Experience calling JSON/REST APIs and working with authentication/authorisation systems

  • Experience collaborating with backend teams to surface new features and functionality

  • A love for systems and an ability to think through and plan for their life cycles, edge cases, interactions, and failure modes

  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to convert business requirements to code and explain complex concepts to the business
