Today we are looking for a Junior Developer with experience building Jira automations over ScriptRunner to work together in a top bank institution for our country Uruguay.

In this junior role, you will help customize and improve Jira and Confluence using ScriptRunner. You’ll get hands-on experience with scripting to automate tasks and enhance workflows. This position offers a great opportunity to develop your technical skills, learn from experienced team members, and contribute to making our systems more efficient and user-friendly.

Principal tasks:

  • Workflow Customization: Design and implement custom workflow conditions, validators, and post-functions using ScriptRunner and Groovy scripting to meet business process requirements.
  • Automation of Repetitive Tasks: Develop and maintain automated scripts to streamline repetitive tasks within Jira or Confluence. Create event listeners and scheduled jobs to automate processes such as issue assignments, notifications, and data updates.
  • Integration and Extension: Build or integrate custom REST endpoints to facilitate integration between Jira/Confluence and external systems.
  • Problem-Solving and Support: Troubleshoot issues related to custom scripts and workflows promptly.

  • University or technical studies in IT
  • Hands on experience in software development: Junior level
  • Experience programming with Groovy / Java
  • Experience developing scripts with ScriptRunner
  • Experience working with JIRA software
