Canadian startup pioneering a new approach to veterinary consultation documentation. The company has developed an AI-powered veterinary scribe system that aims to set a new standard in the industry.

The startup appears to be targeting a significant pain point in veterinary practice - the time-consuming nature of documentation - with an AI-powered solution that promises to revolutionize how veterinary consultations are recorded and managed.

We are looking for an experienced Product Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have around 4 years of hands-on experience in product development, with strong proficiency in JavaScript (including Chrome Extensions) and Flutter/Dart. The role demands someone who can thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about building innovative, user-centric products.

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient web applications and Chrome Extensions using JavaScript and related technologies.
  • Build cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart, ensuring smooth performance and usability.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver exceptional user experiences and ensure product features are implemented according to requirements.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to improve application performance and functionality.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality through best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the product roadmap and help define technical strategies to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software development, particularly in JavaScript, Chrome Extensions, and Flutter/Dart.

  • 4 years of experience in product development, with a solid understanding of development lifecycle and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, including experience developing Chrome Extensions.
  • Proficiency in Flutter and Dart for building mobile applications across multiple platforms (iOS and Android).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment, with a focus on delivering results in an agile setting.
  • Strong desire to learn, innovate, and improve product features based on user feedback and data-driven insights.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with back-end technologies and APIs integration.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment tools.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks and continuous integration practices.
