As our first QA Engineer, you’ll work closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders in a highly team-oriented environment. What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with developers and designers to ensure top product quality.
  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for our app and digital dashboard.
  • Set up and maintain automated testing frameworks for regression, functional, and UI testing.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using JIRA.
  • Define and implement QA best practices and testing strategies as our first QA hire.
  • Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure compatibility.
  • Communicate and collaborate with the team to improve processes and quality standards.

  • 3+ years of experience in QA, with both manual and automation testing.
  • Strong knowledge of Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation tools.
  • Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured) and performance testing.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Experience testing applications built with React Native (app), React (dashboard), NestJS (backend), and Next.js (megastore) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-player mindset—collaboration is at the heart of our culture!
  • Fluent in English and Spanish. Will need to effectively communicate with both the US and Uruguay teams. 
  • Ideal candidate is located in Montevideo.
