A Switzerland-based consulting firm specializing in the development of innovative software solutions for trade finance is expanding its operations and establishing a new office. The team located in Montevideo will be responsible for building and maintaining in-house software tools in areas such as credit management, transaction processing and compliance monitoring.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable backend systems for trade finance operations
  • Develop modules for billing document processing, credit limit monitoring, and real-time reporting
  • Define microservice architecture and APIs
  • Ensure scalability, security, and compliance in system design
  • Integrate with financial APIs, credit bureaus, and external systems
  • Ensure data integrity, transactional consistency, security, scalability and high performance
  • Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver robust features

  • Expert in Java with strong SQL knowledge
  • Experience with Spring Boot, JPA, and RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge of financial systems
  • Familiarity with messaging and microservices architecture
  • Strong understanding of multi-tenant SaaS platforms and financial compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with financial & transaction processing and reporting
  • Prior work on fintech or banking platforms
  • Bonus: Knowledge of trade finance/lending platforms

Be part of a new operation in Montevideo, joining a financial organization — a fintech based in Switzerland.
The position requires on-site work from Monday to Friday. The offices will be located at WTC – Free Zone.
