We’re hiring a mid-senior Mobile Developer to support a project building a Capacitor-based mobile shell around an existing web application that enables financial advisors and clients to access portfolio information via iOS and Android. The mobile shell will be built using Capacitor.js, integrating Capacitor NPM packages with the existing web application and mobile app repository, and deployed within an AWS environment.

The lead mobile engineer will have already started this work before you join the project. This is a highly self-managed, delivery-focused role operating in a compressed timeline, with key deliverables happening during and around the Christmas and New Year holidays. The selected developer will collaborate with the lead mobile engineer before their holiday break, ensure coverage and continuity from December 22, 2025 through January 9, 2026, and support development, build processes, and testing through early January.

You will work closely with our engineering team, internal QA, and the US-based client (Central Time) to ensure the mobile application is ready for client testing and source-code distribution by early January.

  • 5+ years of professional mobile development experience with Capacitor, Ionic, or comparable hybrid mobile frameworks.
  • Experienced building mobile shells/wrappers around web applications, including embedded web views, navigation handling, and file upload/download flows.
  • Adept at integrating with existing mobile app repositories and adapting Capacitor-based code to different platforms (iOS and Android)
  • Comfortable working in an AWS-based environment for configuration, builds, and deployment with minimal oversight.
  • Strong problem-solver who can debug issues across iOS, Android, and emulators.
  • Familiar with distribution tools (Firebase App Distribution, TestFlight, BrowserStack, or similar) and mobile build packaging.
  • Clear communicator who can coordinate with internal and client stakeholders during US hours.
  • Able to ramp quickly and collaborate with the lead developer prior to the December 22, 2025–January 9, 2026 coverage window.
  • Comfortable validating mobile functionality, supporting lightweight testing, and coordinating with QA.

This is a contract position (based on fit and preference). Compensation is competitive and reflects experience, migration availability, and client-facing capability.

We offer remote flexibility, a thoughtful client mix, and a culture that values clarity, autonomy, and excellence.

US Time Zones — overlap with GMT+3 and EST.

This role currently supports a Thursday - Sunday migration schedule, and the right fit will have weekend availability to support the client’s required hours.
