The Product Specialist sits at the intersection of implementation, customer success, product, and sales. You will be the go-to person for clients to get up and running, stay on track, and fully realize the value of the platform.
This is a high-ownership role where you will manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously, drive customer conversions alongside the sales team, and ensure a smooth transition from implementation to full product adoption. You will also act as a product expert, supporting both prospects and active users.
Implementation & Project Management
Own end-to-end onboarding for new clients through structured 12–16 week implementation plans
Manage multiple concurrent implementations, ensuring timelines and quality are maintained
Coordinate across client teams, internal engineering, and stakeholders to drive execution
Hold stakeholders accountable to deadlines while maintaining strong relationships
Validate data migrations and ensure accuracy before go-live
Post-Go-Live Support & Customer Success
Own the post-cutover experience, ensuring a smooth transition to live operations
Triage and resolve issues, coordinating with internal teams as needed
Identify whether issues are bugs, configuration gaps, or training needs
Drive product adoption until clients become fully self-sufficient
Sales Support & Customer Conversion
Partner with sales in late-stage deals to support client conversion
Deliver tailored product demos to different stakeholders
Act as a trusted advisor, bringing real-world implementation experience into the sales process
Training & Enablement
Design and deliver role-based training sessions
Create and maintain onboarding materials, documentation, and knowledge base content
Develop training assets such as walkthroughs and recorded sessions
Support change management processes within client organizations
Product Feedback
Act as the voice of the customer internally
Translate client needs into actionable product feedback
Contribute to documentation and release notes
What We’re Looking For
Strong project management skills with a high level of ownership and accountability
Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
Experience working cross-functionally with different teams
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve post-implementation issues
Understanding of professional services workflows (billing, time tracking, operations)
Strong attention to detail, especially when working with data
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Confidence presenting to clients and stakeholders
Comfortable working in fast-paced, startup environments
Nice to Have
Experience working in a CPA firm or similar environment
Familiarity with legacy practice management systems (e.g., CCH Axcess, Practice Engine, Iris/Star)
Background in SaaS, customer success, implementation, or consulting roles
Experience creating training content (videos, walkthroughs, documentation)
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Linear)
