An experienced, self-directed and highly motivated User Experience (UX) Designer to help wireframe, test, and implement onsite desktop and mobile site features. You should be goal-oriented and highly ambitious to improve the consumer experience. The ideal candidate for this role is a pragmatic visionary that can translate business needs into a customer-focused solution.

You must be able to:

  • Define and construct UX concepts based on an awareness of the business’ requirements and end-user needs through up-front, end-user research
  • Build user flows, wireframes, user stories, workflow diagrams and storyboards for digital site experiences
  • Work with Project Management to drive project kickoff discovery sessions, help clarify business objectives and problems and create UX timelines
  • Be updated with and comprehend leading-edge technologies and software to inspire the execution of UX deliverables within a competitive environment
  • Produce high-quality UX deliverables using the following variety of tools and methods:

User research:

  • Plans, coordinates, and executes user research activities
  • Compiles and analyzes both quantitative and qualitative data from related users for a solution design, understanding user behavior, user motivation drivers and recommending options for project enhancements
  • Assesses the effectiveness and adoption of existing solution(s) or process(es)

User-centered solution design:

  • Creates and/or optimizes designs for a solution or process based on user perspectives, design best practices, and/or business requirements
  • Actively participates in an iterative design review process
  • Evaluates the effectiveness and adoption of an existing solution or process

Information Architecture:

  • Defines structural components and information organization for systems based on user perspectives and best practices
  • Produces artifacts that effectively communicate this architecture to business stakeholders and development teams
  • Actively facilitates and/or participates in an iterative information architecture review process

Design validation:

  • Plans, coordinates, and conducts usability testing sessions and other methods for obtaining relevant feedback from users
  • Compiles, analyzes and communicates findings and recommendations based on these activities
  • Present to the client in person and through video calls, pitching new projects and production proposals
  • Lead internal and external workshop sessions to co-create and ideate concepts in a fast paced environment
  • Work under minimal guidance
  • Provide assistance in complementary roles and help manage and mentor younger UX designers

  • You must have 4 years of experience working as a UX Designer in a highly digital environment
  • Able to create clear decks that effectively communicate your thinking and help stakeholders make decisions
  • Familiar with UX research methodologies and can execute some of them if needed
  • Creative problem-solver. Proactive, self-sufficient and professional, with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge and experience in applying user-centered design processes while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • You’re always up-to-date with the latest design trends and innovations
  • You’re meticulous in your process, and have an eagle-eye for detail
  • Proficient in UX design tools (Sketch, Invision, Figma, Axure Adobe Creative Suite, etc)
  • Knowledge of web-based technologies and their impact on the feasibility of design solutions with a focus on optimizing mobile experiences
  • Experience with research design utilizing various methods including but not limited to usability studies, contextual inquiry, surveys, market analysis and customer feedback
  • Creative problem-solver fostering a result-driven approach towards e-commerce challenges and opportunities
  • You must have excellent verbal and written skills that enable you to present comfortably to clients
  • English fluency is a must
