The company is democratizing 3D for the world. The company help their customers manage, optimize and distribute 3D across all their digital platforms. Manage and continue to expand the Platform 3D model operations pipeline. The Platform is a cloud based 3D content management system that automatically optimizes 3D files to meet web, social media, and game-engine standards. There are multiple 3D pipelines to ensure proper optimization depending on the end use case and this position will continue to expand these capabilities working closely with the optimization and 3D graphics engineers.

Build and maintain the Platform 3D model operations pipeline.

Actively troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and production, catching and solving issues before launch within the model operations pipeline.

  • At least 5 years experiences with Node and python
  • Experience with make and Cmake
  • Familiar with cloud infrastructure providers and how they function (preferable Google Cloud)
  • Experience with Linux
  • Familiar with developing for distributed, modular architecture (kubernetes, Docker)
  • Comfortable with working in a development cycle leading all the way to deployment in a live environment
  • Familiar with database operations and comfortable working with relational and non-relational databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
  • Commitment to good code styling, documentation, and testing practices

Bonus:

  • C++,
  • 3D Graphics experience
  • Knowledge of 3D file formats (glTF, USDZ, FBX, etc)
  • Experience with Java
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and able to work with related software (Jenkins)
