You will be working with our multicultural teams specialised in mobile iOS and Android app building, web, back-end and dev-ops, a total of around 50 fun and driven team players.

We are looking for an experienced Sr.QA Engineer (Automation). This person will help our team choose the right set of tools for automation and build out the testing infrastructure. You will work closely with the engineering, product, and quality assurance teams to train and guide us in our test automation practices. This is an area we are looking to invest heavily in, and you will have an immediate and lasting impact on the quality of our products.
 
We use technologies such as React/redux, Golang, PHP, Node.js, Docker, Gitlab, and AWS, and are always evaluating new technologies and patterns that can have a positive impact on our products. We lean heavily towards open-source technologies. We are looking for someone that can make test automation part of our process and culture. Qualified candidates should not only be able to lead the testing strategy but actively participate in writing tests as well. We expect this candidate to have an interest in mentoring team members and align everyone on the use of best practices and patterns of our testing strategy.
 

The mains responsibilities are:

  •  Responsible for designing and implementing test automation infrastructure
  • Design, build and evolve a robust test automation framework utilizing tools such as Selenium, Appium, and other product specific interfaces
  • Develop, establish, and enforce quality assurance measures and automation testing standards within the software development lifecycle
  • Setup and maintain the test automation framework including integration into the CI workflow. Integrate with productivity tools such as Gitlan and Jira for visibility of test runs
  • Develop, sustain, and optimize the test automation suite for various applications including web applications, web services, iOS applications, and Android applications
  • Lead test automation activities for products assigned, including training other QA and development staff on how to develop and maintain automation scripts
  • Work effectively with other members of QA team on standards and opportunities for collaboration

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant test automation development experience
  • 3+ Years of Quality Assurance in Automation (QA) - Functional, Integration, End to End
  • Automation, RESTful Services
  • Expert in automated test development, using technologies like Selenium, SoapUI, and Postman
  • Experience with the development and support of responsive web applications using programming/scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or Go
  • Excellent debugging skills of web applications, mobile applications, and web services
  • Deep understanding of test automation fundamentals, including functional, performance, stress and endurance testing; BDD and TDD techniques a plus
  • Experience using different types of performance tests. Such as Scalability, Endurance, Load, etc.
  • Experience in testing cross-browser/cross-platform/cross-device compatibility
  • Experience using WebDriverIO with JavaScript
  • Experience using AWS with tools like cloudwatch, data bases.
  • Experience using Jmeter for performance testing
  • Experience using CI/CD with git lab
  • Ability to teach and train others on test automation patterns and techniques
  • Understanding of CI is a must (CI tools, techniques, and enablement of automated tests using CI tools)
  • Experience with source control systems such as Git or TFS
  • Knowledge around micro-services or service-oriented architecture is a plus
  • Experience working in an agile/Scrum environment
